Return tourist flow to Arkhyz ATRC in 2016/2017 exceeded 65%, to Elbrus ATRC — 55% of tourists. While there is a high level of overall guest satisfaction with the resorts and their desire to return in the new ski season: the figure was more than 80% for Arkhyz and about 72% for Elbrus.

New  investors of Arkhyz ATRC (i.e. Ilya Muromets, Gornaya Reka and Lux-Arkhyz  companies) were certified as residents of the special economic zone of tourism  and recreation type in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic.

The tourist flow to All-Season Tourist and Recreational Resort Arkhyz, developed by Northern Caucasus Resorts, following the results of 2016/2017 ski season, which ended this weekend, exceeded 170 thousand visitors.

The Russian Government has instructed to elaborate and submit for consideration before December 1, 2017 a concept for ski industry development in the Russian Federation, with particular attention to the import substitution of equipment for ski resorts.

The Ski Industry Union that brings together professionals in design, construction and operation of ski resorts in Russia will cooperate with French Association Cluster Montagne, which includes travel agencies, trade unions, universities and enterprises involved in the development of mountain tourism industry in France.

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev visited All-Season Tourist and Recreational Resort Arkhyz, being created under the control of Joint-Stock Company Northern Caucasus Resorts in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic.
