The Ministry of the North Caucasus Affairs of the Russian Federation approved the members of the expert council for tourist-and-recreational special economic zones included in the North Caucasian tourist cluster, managed by Joint-Stock Company Northern Caucasus Resorts. 

In the development of All-Season Tourist and Recreational Resort Arkhyz in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, Joint-Stock Company Northern Caucasus Resorts completes the installation of the equipment of section 1 of the ropeway on the North oriented slope of Romantik tourist village. 

‘Today we are at Stage 1 of forming the Russian-French joint venture. The project is important for the Russian Federation and is a major point of growth for regions in the North Caucasus. The initiative for the production of process equipment will create new jobs and improve the quality of human resource capacity in the regions. 

On Friday, October 20, at the 24th Moscow Ski Build Expo 2017, experts in construction, operation and promotion of winter resorts introduced the ski industry development concept in the Russian Federation until 2030, drafted together with Joint-Stock Company Northern Caucasus Resorts and Ski Industry Union by order of Dmitry Medvedev, the Prime Minister.

Russian Federation Government Decree No. 1190 dated September 29, 2017 authorized the Ministry of the North Caucasus Affairs of the Russian Federation to exercise the rights of the shareholder of Joint-Stock Company Northern Caucasus Resorts on behalf of the Russian Federation as regards to the federally-owned shares.

Joint-Stock Company Northern Caucasus Resorts and Joint-Stock Company Northern Caucasus Development Corporation (NCDC) and POMA under direct supervision of the Ministry of the Northern Caucasus Affairs of the Russian Federation will explore the possibility of creating a joint venture to design, build and manufacture ropeways for ski resorts.
