At the interregional forum of All-Russia People’s Front which was held last weekend in Stavropol, the President of Russia Vladimir Putin praised the work carried out by JSC NCR, the Russian Ministry of the North Caucasus Affairs and Karachay-Cherkessia to establish ArkhyzATRC.

Arkhyz was built from the ground up. Great, well done, congratulations," the President said commenting on the words of a member of the All-Russia People’s Front from Kabardino-Balkaria, Albert Kilchukov on the dynamic development of tourism in the region.

"Yesterday we discussed a lot of issues. One aspect was development of tourism. In attendance were the Minister of the North Caucasus Affairs, representatives of Northern Caucasus Resorts. Many good things are already done. Recently a ropeway has been launched at the height of 3,847 meters on Mount Elbrus. Arkhyz is developing dynamically, and we, businessmen, can say that resorts are developing properly nowadays," said Albert Kilchukov telling the President about the results of activity of JSC NCR and the Russian Ministry of the North Caucuses Affairs in the region.

The member of the People’s Front also asked the head of the State to draw attention of the Federal mass media on the importance of promotion of tourist-and-recreational opportunities created in the region.

"I will definitely give this information to Konstantin Lvovich," answered Vladimir Putin.
